How we work

Every article on Gadget Daily News is built from sources we open and cite, checked a second time before it goes up, and dated so you know how current it is.

Sources come first

Every number, price, date, spec and company fact in an article comes from a page we opened while researching it. We prefer primary sources: the company’s own site and support pages, press releases, government sites and official documentation. Each article lists its sources at the end.

When a figure varies or we couldn’t confirm it, we say so and tell you how to check it yourself.

Dated, not timeless

Prices, product lineups and subscription costs change. Articles show a “Checked” month at the top, and prices in the text say when they were checked. Treat anything older than a few months as a starting point and confirm it before you buy.

No invented experience

We don’t claim to have tested, reviewed or owned products unless we have. We don’t make up reader stories, quotes, ratings or review counts. When we recommend something, the reason is stated and rests on facts you can check.

How AI tools are used

We use AI tools to help research, draft and check articles. A separate checking pass reopens the sources and confirms the figures, dates and claims before publication. AI tools are never used to invent sources, quotes or experiences.

Independence

No company pays for coverage or reviews. If that ever changes, for example through advertising, how we make money will say so first.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, email albert@gadgetdailynews.com with the page and what’s wrong. We fix errors of fact promptly and update the article’s “Checked” date when we do.
